We believe in algae because it was here before us—and will be around long after us. Ancient and resilient, it was the original source of nutrition. Long before nutrients were scattered to the four winds, they were all packed into algae’s tiny form. Today algae is still, by weight, one of the most nutrient-dense foods on our planet. And partly through our work, we hope algae can also be a path toward sustaining that planet. By farming algae and developing delicious products for the way we really live and eat today, we seek to build a circular future in which what we consume supports—rather than depletes—the planet we live on. Everyday, we work tirelessly toward closing the gap between that future and now.
